This book is described as offering “the information MBA graduates ought to have, but usually only gain after years of hard-won experience.” I wouldn’t agree with that statement 100%, but I would say this book is great for anybody interested in business.
MBA In a Book is a collection of quotations, 330 pages total, with one quotation per page. If you are looking for a book to read when you only have a couple minutes at a time, this is a great book for you. I marked 24 pages that I wanted to be able to find again. When I read a book, if I get one valuable item which will benefit my life, I find the book was worth reading.
The book has three sections
Business Principles
“Do it fast, do it right, do it cheap. Pick two.” - Anonymous
Sales Tips
“Every sale has five basic obstacles: no need, no money, no hurry, ho desire, no trust.” - Zig Ziglar
Leadership Principles
“Nobody rises to low expectations” - Calvin Lloyd
If you “feel the need for some instant inspiration” MBA IN A BOOK is a great pick. Unlike many books I read, this one won’t be handed on. It is finding a spot on my bookshelf.

Get Off Your Blessed Assurance and Do Something !
Published by Faith Words, You Want Me To Do What definately falls in the religion genre. The official full description reads.
“When individuals feel God telling them to do something that is out of their comfort zone, what is the instinctive reaction? To run for the hills? To pretend they didn’t hear? To argue? Dr. Michael Youssef explains that God challenges every Christian to fulfill the call He has placed on their lives. Dr. Youssef walks readers through the story of Joshua and leads them to discover how to take on what seems to be impossible, learn from failure, complete the victory, claim their inheritance, and share their story. By the end of this journey they will be inspired to put the lessons of this book into practice and claim the promises that accompany God’s calling.”
The book does a great job of taking the story of Joshua from the bible and relating it to the reader. If you are questioning your abilities and feel you need some religious guidance, then You Want Me To Do What ? may be a good book for you.
